Machine Leg Press

Position

Sit on the leg press machine with your back flat against the backrest and your feet shoulder-width apart on the platform.

Movement

  • Push the platform away from your body by extending your legs, keeping your back flat against the backrest.
  • Lower the platform back down towards your body by bending your knees, then repeat the movement.

Breathing

Inhale as you lower the platform and exhale as you push it away.

Tips

  • Keep your core engaged and your back flat against the backrest throughout the movement to maintain proper form.
  • Avoid locking out your knees at the top of the movement to prevent strain on the joints.
