Position

Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground. Lean back slightly to engage your core muscles and lift your feet off the ground.

Movement

  • Rotate your torso to the right, bringing your hands towards the floor next to your hip.
  • Return to the center and then rotate your torso to the left, bringing your hands towards the floor next to your hip.

Breathing

Exhale as you twist your torso to the right or left and inhale as you return to the center.

Tips

  • Keep your back straight and your core engaged throughout the exercise.
  • Avoid rounding your back or using momentum to twist your torso.
  • Focus on using your obliques to rotate your torso from side to side.
